Melbourne University Pre-departure Briefing

"Tink". The lift came to a halt signifying we have already landed on Level 2. Big bronzy elevator doors open before me revealing the crowd of people in the room. Some were busy registering themselves, whereas some were busy chatting in a sheer euphoria. As I did not see anyone of acquitance , I quickly minded my own business by proceeding to the registration counter with my mother. The registration counter was rather packed with people but I , eventually still manage to find my way to put my precious name on that simple piece of paper. Hooray...........

Lucky me, my mother and I managed to secure a strategicly positioned seats which is the front row.(To be honest, I was quite reluctant to seat in front at first). After settling ourselves down, at that very left corner, I realised it was Jess and Hui Wen . Haha. Didn't expect they were going to grab front seats as well. Well, never mind of that................

So, while we continued to wait on for the latecomers to settle down and secure a seat, we patiently read through brochures provided. Hmm.... "Discover Melbourne: A Guide For International Student"..."Information Guide"...... "Accommodation"...................................
Fortunately, it didn't take long for those latecomers to settle down, otherwise I would be dosing off (I slept at 3.oo am) again. I mean after all the ambience of the conference hall is indeed commendable as it was classy and formal, but not over the top.

The speaker, whom I forgot her name, was in fact a very good speaker as she often pop up question regarding the Australian culture. All in all the briefing was a success as I believe the content was constructive and not to forget that ever smilling speaker.
